Nerves can obviously come into play when performing especially for the first time, however we have the experience to be able to ease your team and individuals into comfortable situations, where they will always perform in a safe space with people who genuinely care that they have an enjoyable time. We have a fantastic success rate at delivering a fun time for everyone involved.
ABOUT US AND WHAT WE DO
Our two main tutors are Chris Lumb and Mandy McCarthy. Chris formed The Discount Comedy Checkout 12 years ago after training with The Second City. Mandy has an extensive background teaching Drama. Together they make a winning combination that will guarantee to put clients at ease with a warm and approachable manner. For bigger client needs we have a pool of teachers and performers to dip into as and when required. All of our teachers are active performers on the improv comedy circuit. This means we are currently updating our skills and techniques keeping everything fresh. Everyone is unique. Every situation is different. Through our experience we are quick to see what is needed for any particular situation.
