Started in 2007 after founder Chris Lumb took a course at Second City, The Discount Comedy Checkout perform 100% raw improvised comedy shows all over the UK.
The current improv cast are Chris Lumb,
Terri Shaw, Natalie Smeaton, Eddie French,
Dom Hodgson and Tom King.
FAQ: IS IT REALLY MADE UP?
Yes it is! The Discount Comedy Checkout prides itself on fully improvised content. Our policy is that we take the audience suggestions and run with them! Obviously our adult shows are where we get into some sticky situations and have to really think outside the box, but that's what we do and have done so for over ten years.
FAQ: WHERE CAN I SEE A SHOW?
Our home base is our regular monthly show at The Fenton in Leeds. We travel far and wide for gigs so there will sure to be an upcoming one near you! Have a look at our listings page to find out when and where and don't forget to put on your thinking cap and bring those suggestions! No holding back! Anything goes with the adult shows.
